Jesse Draxler, artist and illustrator, creates psychosomatic and abstract collages. OAK NYC asked Jesse to lend his signature touch to their editorial. See the result down below.
Jesse Draxler is a Minneapolis-based visual artist, focusing on distorting or transforming an original image to create something new. He creates various mixed media works by combining photography with collages. This is exactly where Jesse puts his main attention to, exploring different mediums and often combining more than one in a series. Jesse Draxler is no stranger to the fashion world. His work has already been commissioned by the New York Times, Dansk Magazine, Vulture Magazine, Creem and Nicotine Magazine. Moreover, Jesse is also featured in the book The Age of Collage (Volume 2 also already available here), cataloguing the work of 81 of the top contemporary collage artists from around the world.
